Hi everyone! We are so happy to announce our new design team members. We actually have FOUR new members joining us from January to March and we can't wait for you to see their stuff. We were so very impressed by their submissions and we know you'll be inspired by them to. Please help me welcome these talented ladies (leave a comment with some love)!!
We asked each new member to share a little bit about herself and her papercrafting. First is Denise and this is what she said:
I have always been a crafter, but only really began paper crafting in June, 2008, when I purchased my Cricut. Since then my free time has been spent with paper. I love trying new ideas and techniques, but for some unexplainable reason, I love boxes! No box is safe with me-I will take it apart to see how it was made!!! I get my inspiration everywhere-Internet (especially the Cricut MB!), TV, stores... I'm always on the lookout for a new project.
We can't wait to see some of Denise's boxes!! Check out Denise's fabulous work on her blog at: http://paperpastime.blogspot.com/.
Next we have Marie and this is what Marie has to say about herself:
I am a paper craft fanatic who loves to get others excited about the wonderful projects you can make with all the wonderful products out there. I love to teach others and hold regular classes at my local library and at my home. I used to work for the Armed Services YMCA teaching military wives a variety of crafts and loved every minute of it. I also worked at Michaels as a class instructor. I have been paper crafting for about 13 years now. I was a scrapbooker first, then in the last couple of years, I have really been card making more than scrapbooking.
I have had a Cricut Expression for about 2 ½ years now and love the versatility of this machine and the way it has stepped up my crafting. I also love to sew. I have my own seamstress business from my home and I love blending my two loves: sewing and paper.
I find my inspiration from lots of sources, mostly online or just playing with paper and embellishments.
I've seen how Marie blends her sewing and papercrafting talent and it's amazing. Check out her stuff on her blog at: http://mariemakeandmend.blogspot.com/.
Our third new member is Susie. Here is what Susie said:
Hi I am Susie L., Mum to 3 gorgeous kids and wife to a wonderful man with the patience of a saint!! I started papercrafting 3 years ago when my sister bought me a mini kit for my birthday within 2 months and a couple of hundred pounds later I found myself with a new addiction!!!
Primarily I am a cardmaker but have occasionally branched into altering household objects although I am always interested in trying new things. I started my blog, Little Smiles (Previously White Ribbon Cards) 2 years ago which opened up a whole new obsession for me .........Challenges, which is where I find my inspiration.
We are so happy to have Susie joining us all the way from the UK!!! Visit Susie's beautiful blog at: http://www.whiteribboncards.blogspot.com/.
Last, but certainly not least, we have Terry and here is Terry's introduction:
I have been interested in crafts for a long time, starting with crochet, cross stitch, a little knitting, sewing, plastic canvas, embroidery, etc. I started making and selling handmade greeting cards, which is my main focus, in 1999. From there, I started scrap booking in 2000 but concentrated more on cards. Making paper crafts is a way for me to "give" to others and the world of crafts has opened up many wonderful possibilities by which to do this. I get my inspiration from other crafters/bloggers. It is from Ms. Dee's blog that I became a follower of GSP, intrigued by her work.
Well, we're a fan of the talented Terry too so check out her awesome work on her blog at: http://www.terryeo.blogspot.com/.
Stay tuned because we have some wonderful challenges planned for 2010!! We promise you will love these fun challenges that will inspire you and stretch your creativity and imagination further then ever!
Inspiring creativity through weekly challenges, demonstrating scrapbooking, cardmaking & papercrafting techniques and sharing tips & tutorials.

Challenge #12 - Mirror, mirror...
Hello everyone! Please note there are a few more days left to submit your application for our design team. The deadline is this Sunday the 13th!
Also, we have a winner for the HSN exclusive 6 Cuttlebug folders! Thank you to all of our participants in the November challenges. The lucky crafter is Marti at Pezadoodle! Check out Marti's beautiful Thanksgiving card. Marti, please email us your information.
Finally, we have an exciting challenge for this week. We picked up these $5 mirrors from Ikea and decided to alter them...anything goes! This should be a fun challenge for you crafty bloggers because literally anything goes. It's not a scrapbook page so you can safely use materials that are not necessarily archival safe. So pick up your Ikea mirror or a similar wide frame and set your creative self free with altering it. We can't wait to see what you come up with.
